- Aged account receivables report is one of the important report to analysis debtor master
- Report options
- Aged as of :- Enter the date that you want the aging calculated for.
- Aging by :- Select whether the aging will be calculated from the due date, posting date or
document date.
- Period length :- Specify the length of each period (Three periods will be shown as columns in the report), example, enter "1M" for one
month.
- Print Amounts in LCY: If you tick this check box, report will be shown figures using LCY (Local currency). If not figures can view each currency &customer wise.
- Print details : If tick this check box, Report can view detail level,
- Heading Type: Select whether the column heading for the three periods will
indicate a date interval or the number of days overdue
- Print to Excel: Place a check mark in the check box if you want to export the
data to an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis or formatting before
printing.
This report will operate as follows :- Once you enter the report parameters,
- Balance column will show customer wise total balance (Total remaining amount in Customer ledger entry)
- Customer list will be lines in the report.
- Four columns arethere according to period length (ex 1M)
- According to the aged as of date & period length columns will prepare.
- Assume we have data (customer ledger entry details) up to 01-May-2014. Aged as of 28-Feb-2014 , period length 1M & Aging by posting date
- Balance column will show customer balance as 01-May-2014
- First column will be (28-feb to 01-feb) , System consider customer ledger entry table & get the total of remaining amount column of that period. it shows each customer wise.
